When you discover the type of diet you should follow and tune it to your body it will make your life much easier if you wish to lose weight in a fast and permanent manner.</p>
<p>There are main 3 <a href="http://howtolosebellyfatfast.com/metabolic-typing-diet/"title="" >metabolic types</a>:</p>

In the middle of these two extremes is the Mixed Type. Each person has their own unique metabolism and after doing your metabolic typing test you will know what your type is so you can start following the diet.</p>
<p>The point of the metabolic diet is to help you find the right fuel mixture so that you have high energy levels throughout the day, create and maintain a strong immune system, have high concentration, energy for physical and mental tasks and a metabolism that helps you <a href="http://howtolosebellyfatfast.com/how-to-lose-weight-fast/"title="" >lose weight fast</a> and helps you <a href="http://howtolosebellyfatfast.com/how-to-lose-belly-fat/"title="" >lose belly fat</a> in a constant and permanent way.</p>

You can also be right in between the mixed type and the protein type or between the mixed type and the carb type.</p>
<p>After you follow  this diet for a few weeks you will gain an awareness of how your body reacts to the different types of food and you start being aware of the right proportions and combinations of foods. This changed my life for the better because the more I tested this the better I understood my bodys reactions to different foods and different food combinations!</p>
<p>Because you can pinpoint certain foods that have a negative effect on your mood, energy level, concentration, you skin or your strength it makes it very easy to say no to foods that are not good for you. You will always be fine tuning your body with your food, its a fun game!</p>
<p>So after you have done your metabolic typing test you will know your type: Protein Type, Carb Type or Mixed Type. After that you can read the article about each metabolic type where you can find the general outline of the diet and the details and considerations for that particular type.</p>
<p>After you read that you will discover what types of foods are best for you and use that knowledge to make the best meal plan that caters to your body.</p>
<p>One important thing to keep in mind is that everybody has a different metabolism so fine tuning your diet is as important as finding out your metabolic type. Because so many people don’t listen to their bodies and are out of touch with their health it is no surprise that some don’t know or remember the feeling of true health.</p>

<p>Over the years I have tried a lot of eating plans or diets, I was a vegetarian for two years, I followed the blood type diet for a few years and now I have been following the principles of the <a href="http://howtolosebellyfatfast.com/metabolic-typing-diet/"title="" >metabolic typing</a> diet and its results are great. The thing that I love most about this diet is that I can eat a lot and I don’t have to cut down on meat or fats. After starting to eat more fat I have much more energy and my immune system is much stronger.</p>

<h2>Why Metabolic Typing?</h2>
<p>So why should you believe in the metabolic typing diet? What makes it different from all the other diets that are out there?</p>
<p>Before I read the book about the metabolic typing diet I believed that a diet with low fat was the healthiest of all and that eating a lot of vegetables was good. The reality is that everybody has a different metabolism and the digestion, absorption and consumption of nutrients is unique for each individual.</p>
<p>Using a one size fits all diet is not the way to go and it is the origin of all of the different diets that are out there. Some swear on a low fat and high carb diet, others say that avoiding carbs and eating a lot of protein and fat is the best option. Other diets are in between these two extremes.</p>
<p>So why do different people have different results with different diets? This is because not all metabolisms are equal and different people burn and absorb nutrients in different ways.</p>
<p>The more to the north you go the colder the weather is. People whose ancestors lived in cold weather have the tendency to eat more protein and fats because they didn&#8217;t have any fruits and vegetables during the winters so they had to hunt big game and eat meat and fat to survive.</p>
<p>People whose ancestors lived in tropical areas didn’t have a food shortage during winters so they always ate more carbs and there also wasn’t any big game around.</p>
<p>A different climate and different food habits over hundreds of generations created different genetics and different reactions to food. So you can’t give 100 different people the same food and expect everyone to have the same results in terms of energy, mood, weight loss or weight gain.</p>

<p>The metabolic typing diet takes this into account because people are all different and this different biochemistry in everyone has a need for a specific proportion of carbohydrates, proteins and fats so that you feel your best and have the best physical and mental performance.</p>

<h2>Diets Work Only in the Short Term</h2>

<p>Most of these diets put people in starvation mode, making them feel hungry all the time and slowing down metabolic rate. This means that when people start eating like they do normally the body absorbs much more of the nutrients and stored them as fat because the body is in a catabolic state, this makes your body absorb everything it can to store as fat reserves.</p>

<h2>You Feel Tired and Low Energy</h2>
<p>This is connected to the previous point because when you are not eating enough you will feel tired. Because you eat less your body slows down the metabolism, imagine it like your body is saving energy and saving power.</p>
<p>When you don’t have enough energy to work outs and your daily activities you cant really live like this. Some of these diets have an exercise plan and it involves doing hours of cardio on a treadmill or on a stationary bike. <p>One of the biggest drawbacks of doing cardio exercise while you are fasting is that you will go in a catabolic state and you will consume your muscle tissue to get energy. Burning muscle will further lower your metabolic rate, making you burn even less calories daily.</p>

<p>Because you did all that hard work and lost fat it is about to get much easier because now you have a developed midsection and you just need to maintain your muscle and you definition.</p>
<p>When your ab muscles are already developed you don’t have to train them as often, I settle on training them once a week, and every few months I do a months of training them 3 times a week.</p>
<p>Remember that doing ab exercises isn&#8217;t going to maintain your six pack, the only important thing is to maintain your body fat percentage the way it is.</p>
<p>Also remember that you need to continue training with squats, dead lifts, snatches and swings. This is what get the weight off and makes your body healthier. Although you stop losing weight I doesn&#8217;t mean that you can stop doing the exercises. Keeping your body strong and with a fast metabolism is the best way of staying cut and feeling good while you burn calories and eat what you like!</p>

<p>First of all, crunches are not an effective way of losing belly fat or losing weight because they are an exercise that offers low resistance and after you did them for a few weeks they will do nothing to develop your abs. They also don’t help you lose belly fat or lose weight because it is an isolated exercise, meaning you only use your abs (doesn’t burn calories).</p>
<p>Doing these exercises is not bad for your health, it is just a waste of time that could be used on exercise that will help you achieve your goal, which can be building strength, weight loss and losing belly fat.</p>
<p>The key to getting a defined six pack is to lose as much belly fat as possible. Not many people know this, but every person that has been in a gym for a few months has well developed abs that would look great if they didn’t have a layer of belly fat covering them up. So your first objective should not be to make your ab muscles bigger, it should be to lose the belly fat that is covering them up&#8230; and this is not done with crunches.</p>
<p>If you focus your workout time on doing multi joint exercises and compound movements like squats, lunges, pull ups, presses, and lunges you will start burning fat fast, including the hard to burn belly fat. With these exercises you activate various muscle groups at the same time and you will burn more calories than a cardio or ab workout. Intensity is key here, all the multi-joint exercises with compound movements contribute to a very high intensity workout.</p>
<p>Having said that, lets talk specifically about ab workouts.</p>
<h2>For How Long Should I Train My Abs?</h2>
<p>Get ready because I have some great news! You ab training shouldn’t take more than 5 or 10 minutes per training session. You can do this 2 or 3 times a week! Now keep in mind that this is not a late night infomercial and you wont get six pack abs just from working out 5 minutes 3 times a week. The ab exercises are just part of your training that his all high intensity, because of the multi-joint exercises that really push you to the limit.</p>
<p>It is good to do your ab exercises at the end of your workout. Its best to do it after your workout because you don’t exhaust your abs before doing the other exercises (you abdominal muscle is needed to stabilize your body) and after the workout your abs are already warmed up and a little exhausted, so these last exercises will push you to the limit.</p>
<p>When you are doing exercises that put a lot of load on your back like squats or dead lifts it is important not to tax your abs before you do them. These exercises will drain all you energy and your abdominal muscles play a vital role in keeping your body stabilized.</p>
<p>Doing dead lifts and squats requires all your concentration and it requires all your strength. So don’t go working out other muscles before you do these exercises. It not good for your results and it can be dangerous.</p>
<p>After doing a heavy workout like this it is not uncommon to be totally drained of energy and you don’t really feel like doing the ab exercises or don’t put all your effort in them.</p>
<p>If you are doing a workout with mostly upper body exercises then you can do your ab routine first but I don’t recommend it.</p>
<p>Doing your ab workout after your other training is a good idea because its a small muscle group. If you are following our advice you will be doing a lot of compound movements and multi-joint exercises and a full body workout&#8230; so definitely do the abs in the end. That energy is best used in your main fat burning exercises.</p>
<h2>How Often Should I Train Abs?</h2>
<p>Another fitness myth regarding ab training is that you need to do it every day you go to the gym. Doing abs for 5 to 10 minutes a day, 2 to 3 times a week is more than enough to create a ripped six pack that will turn heads at the beach.</p>
<p>This is more than enough to develop your abdominal muscles to pristine state. Remember that you are training them every time you do squats, dead lifts and pull ups! You muscles also need time to rest and develop properly. Destroying them every time you train is not needed and its counter productive to muscular development.</p>
<h2>The Best Ab Exercises</h2>
<p>I already talked about resistance being a crucial factor in muscle development and weight loss, and the abs are no different. One of the reasons that doing 200 crunches everyday is not useful in terms of muscular development or fat loss is because it offers no meaningful resistance. In the beginning its hard but once you can do the 200, it will be easy and it will not challenge your body to adapt and grow.</p>
<p>Crunches are great for when you are starting out, but once you have some strength you need to do <a href="http://howtolosebellyfatfast.com/ab-exercises/"title="" >abdominal exercises</a> that offer more resistance so that your midsection keeps developing.</p>
<p>Some of the best ab exercises are the ones where you have to curl your lower body up while you are hanging on a bar. This type of exercise provides more resistance and a broader range of motion that uses the abdominal muscles to their full extent.</p>
<p>The best ab exercises are the ones that are initiated with your lower body curling. If you are just starting your workouts you can use easier ab exercises but only after you have used all your energy on the harder exercises. It is enough to do 2 exercises for 3 sets.</p>
<p>The repetitions should be low so keep them in the 8 to 12 range. These exercises are not that hard to do if you have been in the gym for a while, so you have to add some resistance by hanging weight on your legs. That way you are always pushing the limits and developing your ab muscles.</p>
<p>By adding weight and keeping your reps low you are always giving more resistance to the muscles and this is what help muscles become stronger and grow bigger. Keep this in mind and don’t fall in the trap of doing 200 crunches, which don’t offer enough resistance or results for a trained body.</p>

<p>Normal cardio training and light strength training doesn&#8217;t have this effect because of the low intensity and because you are working out isolated muscles like the abs, shoulders, biceps or triceps.</p>
<h2>Full Body Fat Burning Exercises</h2>
<p>If you compare the other workout with a full body training routine with multi-joint exercises for the lower and upper body you get a much more intense workout. I recommend that you use free weights and ignore the machines. Free weights are always better because they use more muscles and use all the muscles at the same time, including your stabilizer muscles in your upper and lower body. Developing all these muscles will develop strength that can be used in your day to day life and in other practical things.</p>
<p>For the lower body some good fat burning exercises are squats and dead lifts and for the upper body you can do bench presses and pull-ups. To finish off your workout you can do a few ab exercises.</p>
<p>When you do a workout like this you have used almost all the muscles in your body intensively, instead of just using some minor muscle groups.</p>
<p>How does this type of training help you lose weight fast? <h2>How Manny Times a Week?</h2>
<p>Going to the gym 5 or 6 times a week to lose weight and get a ripped body is not necessary. People that go that much to the gym are either over training or their workouts are to easy. This is not surprising because many people go to the gym for socializing and having fun with other people. That is not a problem for them, but if you want results you should concentrate on your workouts and do them intensely when you are at the gym. If you are working out like you should there won’t be enough time to chit chat, just to catch your breath!</p>
<p>Working out 3 to 4 times a week is best for most people. When you train you are exerting a stimulus on your body so that it builds muscle and burns fat. After your training your body needs to recuperate and repair your muscles before you start the next training session. So going to the gym 5 or 6 times a week is too much. Training just once a week is not enough because that is almost like not going to the gym.</p>
<p>Training 3 to 4 times a week is the best choice for most people because it allows your body to continually adapt to the new challenges of your training and it also allows enough rest for proper recuperation.</p>
<h2>For How Long Should I Work Out?</h2>
<p>Workouts should be short and intense and take between 45 and 60 minutes. Always try to make your workout as short as possible and keep the resting time to one minute. If you concentrate on your training it is easy to do it in this time frame, but if you hang out around the water cooler and socialize too much then it is impossible to keep your intensity high.</p>
<p>Research shows that when workout sessions get too long there is a high production of cortisol. Cortisol is a catabolic hormone, this means it will promote the consumption of muscle as fuel for your exercise and this will make your recovery time much longer and it will hinder your fat burning efforts. This is a bad thing because you will be consuming muscle instead of fat and the best way to lose weight is by burning fat.</p>
<p>To sum up, it is best to work out 3 or 4 times a week and each workout should take 45 to 60 minutes. You can try out different combinations and you have to see which intensity works best for you. Don’t forget that you have to push yourself to get the highest intensity at all times, that is when you are pushing your limits and that gets you the results and weight loss you are looking for.</p>

There is so much stuff out there (with so much of it being total bullshit) that people don’t know what method to choose and who they should trust.</p>

<h2>Why Fitness Industry Wants to Keep You Guessing</h2>
<p>The fitness industry is a very big one, you have weight loss supplements, exercise equipment, expensive gym memberships, personal trainers, and the list goes on. The health and fitness industry has a volume of $14 Billion a year and the nutrition and weight loss industry moves $44 Billion a year.</p>
<p>The reason that this industry moves mountains of money is because they have repeat customers that don’t know anything about nutrition or health. Because 95% of all these products don’t produce results most of this industry is just yanking peoples chains promising them miraculous results that no one ever saw reproduced. With all those marketing dollars people keep seeing and hearing these slogans and they start to believe it.</p>
<p>Even so people keep falling in the same marketing traps, the promise of a perfect physique overnight, and everybody gets disappointed, quits for a while and after a couple of months they buy the next magic pill.</p>
